Chris Volk to Speak at NAREE’s Houston Conference

The National Association of Real Estate Editors (NAREE) is holding their 48th Annual Real Estate Journalism Conference, “Uptown Energy,” in Houston on Wednesday, June 11th through Saturday the 14th.  The conference will center on housing, commercial real estate, sustainability, economics and design.

Six chief economists will designate the conference including the following: Lawrence Yun, National Association of Realtors; Mark Obrinksy, National Multifamily Housing Council; Stan Humphries, Zillow; Mark Fleming, CoreLogic; Jed Kolko, Trulia and Brad Hunter, Metrostudy.  Various speakers also include Anthony Hsieh, chief executive, LoanDepot; multifamily developer Martin Fein; Joseph Greenblatt, president of Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) and luxury realty broker Martha Turner.  I am honored to also be joining the speaker lineup this year.

“NAREE 14 will bring together staff and freelance journalists from the Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg and MarketWatch to the Los Angeles Times, Chicago Tribune, New York Times, Houston Chronicle, Dallas Morning News and Arizona Republic, among many others, to report about real estate,” said Mary Doyle-Kimball, NAREE executive director.
