Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation One Walk: STOREs of Hope Represents with Pride!
STORE Capital employees, families and even a few four-legged friends all joined together recently at Sloan Park in Mesa, Arizona for the 2019 JDRF One Walk. The STOREs of Hope Team raised nearly $7,600 in donations to support the foundation’s research to find a cure for Type One Diabetes (T1D).
Many of STORE Capital’s business associates, including DLA Piper, Kutak Rock, MyTek, Oracle, and Protiviti, joined in donating to the effort along with STORE employees and friends. The sum earned our STOREs of Hope team their own tent in the Corporate Village, where team members gathered prior to the walk. The additional 16,000 participants who joined the JDRF Arizona Chapter’s 29th annual walk helped raise over $1,000,000 in total donations. The One Walk has been the organization’s most powerful peer-to-peer fundraising program raising more than $1 billion dollars in research since 1992.
