Celebrating our Team – This is What Makes STORE a Certified *Great Place to Work*

94% of Employees Say STORE is A Great Place to Work

In July 2022, STORE received A Great Place to Work certification badge. STORE employees completed a Global Employee Engagement Benchmark Study where they rated their workplace against 17 statements in Great Place to Work’s Trust Index™ survey. The certification is the result of employee responses received from this survey as well as independent analysis. The statements measure factors that contribute to a positive employee experience, such as a sense of purpose, innovation opportunities, psychological safety, perceptions of leaders and fairness. This year’s survey of STORE employees noted teamwork, opportunities, and good benefits as particular strengths for the company.

According to the survey, 94% of employees at STORE Capital say it is a great place to work compared to 57% of employees at a typical U.S.-based company.

Mary Fedewa, Chief Executive Officer of STORE Capital said, “We have many reasons to celebrate this honor, but the biggest reason is our people. The team at STORE drives our culture, our relationships with customers, and the success of our business. We appreciate the hard work and the energy our colleagues bring to work every day, which is why we are totally committed to providing them with professional growth opportunities.”

“Great Place to Work Certification™ isn’t something that comes easily – it takes ongoing dedication to the employee experience,” said Sarah Lewis-Kulin, Vice President of Global Recognition at Great Place to Work. “It is the only official recognition determined by employees’ real-time reports of their company culture. Earning this designation means that STORE Capital is one of the best companies to work for in the country.”

The certification highlights the importance of team culture at STORE and the company’s commitment to providing an inclusive, engaging work environment that is centered on integrity, service, growth, collaboration, quality, and empowerment.
