STORE CAPITAL HOSTS “COFFEE AND CONNECTIONS” EVENT FOR EMPLOYEES, FEATURING GUEST SPEAKER JAWAD AHSAN
On March 16th, STORE Capital had the pleasure of hosting a “Coffee and Connections” networking event for its employees. STORE launched Coffee and Connections last year as a monthly networking series where employees can build relationships with team members across the organization.
This month, STORE Capital was honored to have Jawad Ahsan, a former member of STORE Capital’s Board of Directors, as the featured speaker for the event. Jawad has had an inspiring career as a leader in the technology field, where he held the position of CFO at Axon and now leads the wireless charging company, Aira, as President.
In 2021, Jawad released his first book, What They Didn’t Tell Me, which provides actionable advice for career progression and being an excellent leader. In the book, Jawad details his own career while teaching the reader “how to be a resilient leader and build teams you can trust”. The STORE Capital team welcomed Jawad’s insight and enjoyed participating in the live Q&A session. As a parting gift STORE Capital Employees received a signed copy of Jawad’s book.
The STORE Capital team is excited to apply the principles learned from the event.
