STORE CAPITAL MAINTAINS COMMITMENT TO COMMUNITY AND CHARITABLE GIVING DURING PANDEMIC

STORE Capital maintained and strengthened our support of community and charitable giving programs in the past year. Despite nationwide lockdowns and business closures, the company’s social responsibility efforts remained active and were adapted to virtual campaigns.

STORE Capital and its employees supported the Urban Land Institutes’ efforts to promote the integration of arts and culture in community revitalization in metro Phoenix, AZ. The organization typically selects one neighborhood each year and revitalizes it through arts and culture, with the help volunteers and community members. Nearly 90 percent of STORE employees donated a total of $21,745 and the company matching donation of $15,000 resulted in a total donation of $36,745.

During the 2020 holiday season, STORE employee committees organized virtual giving campaigns to continue the company’s longstanding relationships with Arizona Helping Hands and St. Vincent de Paul. Employees set a new company record for the annual STORE holiday toy drive by donating more than 372 toys to Arizona Helping Hands through an online platform, a total that surpassed last year’s record of 216.  Responding to a heightened need for community relief, STORE employees made online donations of more than 600 pounds of food to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul. This holiday period marks the third consecutive year STORE has committed to both charities.

STORE’s employee-run engagement committees have been resolute throughout the pandemic and adapted to the challenges presented by the pandemic with innovative solutions and strong commitment.
