STORE CAPITAL WOMENS NETWORK PRESENTS STORYTIME
On August 30th STORE Capital’s Women’s Network presented “STORytime”, an introduction to STORE’s deal process via a live cartoon artist. This event was planned by Lori Markson, STORE’s EVP of Portfolio Operations in the hopes of sharing more about STORE’s various departments with employees, and how they interact with one another. The event highlighted how the deal process goes through each of STORE’s departments and the corresponding role data analytics plays.
Team members from Acquisitions, Underwriting, Closing, Operations and Accounting explained their portion of the deal process as the local award-winning cartoon artist, Taryl Hansen, illustrated their words simultaneously. This allowed the employees to hear and see different aspects of a deal than what they are used to, while also taking part in a fun, artistic activity. The purpose of this event was to provide an experiential and educational opportunity for STORE employees to learn more about other roles within the company.
“STORytime” was the third event directed by STORE’s Women’s Networking Group. Their mission is to provide opportunities for development, foster valuable connections, and facilitate success through personal and professional growth for the next generation of leaders through empowerment, mentorship, and service.
